Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data

As DEEPWORK BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Company” or “HR-AI”), we attach great importance to the security and privacy of your personal data. In this context, we would like to inform you about your personal data processed by us as the data controller, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK” or “Law”) and relevant legislation.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data collected will be processed for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by our business units to benefit you from the products and services offered by our Company, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and persons in business relationship with our Company, determining and implementing our Company's commercial and business strategies, and executing our Company's human resources policies; within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:

  • Conducting and managing video interview processes,
  • Analyzing candidates' competencies, skills, and personality,
  • Digitalizing human resources processes and increasing efficiency,
  • Ensuring identity verification and transaction security,
  • Measuring and improving service quality,
  • Fulfilling legal obligations,
  • Managing customer and candidate requests and complaints,
  • Planning and executing information security processes.

3. Processed Personal Data Categories

Depending on the processes, the following categories of data may be processed by our Company:

  • Identity Information (Name, Surname, Date of Birth, ID No, etc.)
  • Contact Information (E-mail, Phone, Address, etc.)
  • Personnel Information (Resume, Education Status, Work Experience, etc.)
  • Visual and Audio Data (Interview videos, voice recordings)
  • Biometric Data (With your explicit consent: Face recognition, emotion analysis data)
  • Transaction Security Information (IP address, log records, device information)

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, in line with the realization of the purposes specified above;

  • To employer institutions you receive service from or apply to,
  • To our business partners and suppliers (cloud service providers, technology consultants, etc.),
  • To legally authorized public institutions and organizations,
  • To judicial authorities in legal disputes.
  • Data transfer abroad is carried out based on the explicit consent of the candidates or other exceptional cases specified in the Law (see Explicit Consent Text).

5. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically by our Company via the website, mobile application, e-mail, interview platform, and integrated systems. These data are collected and processed based on the legal grounds of;

  • Explicitly stipulated in laws,
  • Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
  • Mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation,
  • Mandatory for data processing for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,
  • Obtaining explicit consent for special categories of personal data

6. Rights of the Data Subject

As personal data owners, pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to;

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
  • Request notification of the correction, deletion, and destruction operations to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Request compensation for the damage if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
